Scarepool – Deadpool meets Scarecrow

A client came to me with a brilliant brief: their own Scarepool, the look of Deadpool reimagined as a burlap scarecrow, built to survive a full day on the Comic Con floor and still photograph beautifully under harsh lighting.

The mask was made first by 3d sculpting the head of Prince Fiyero, then turning that into a mould which I then 3d printed. From this mould I made a silicone head of Fiyero and layered on burlap soaked in silicone over the top, held on with pins starting with the nose area, then the rest of the face

A wig was then stuck into the head and then styled and the addition of straw to finish the look.

Finished as a comfortable full-head piece, it drew a crowd all weekend.
